TechWreck is one of the most highly qualified, secure and unique recycling companies in the US. Located in the heart of Missouri, our focus is recycling electronic waste. We are one of the few companies in the US that provides zero waste services for this material.
By owning and operating our disassembly and refining facilities in Mexico, Missouri, we control all aspects of the process and operate in compliance with all State and Federal compliance and regulations.
TechWreck specializes in decommissioning all computer and electronics equipment. It is broken down into raw recyclable materials which include copper, aluminum, tin, steel or any non-ferrous metal bearing material. We also concentrate any precious or rare earth metals as well. All of these materials are disassembled and placed in like categories, shredded or milled down to be refined/melted and turned into new goods. This material is truly zero waste recycling and keeping this metal out of the environment and landfills. All glass and plastics are ground into powders and sent to respective domestic recycling companies that specialize in these materials.
TechWreck performs extraction services for chemical manufacturing and plating companies that rely on our expertise in chemical analysis and refining services. We are one of the few precious metal refineries in the U. S. that offers recycling services for metal containing chemical catalyst. Our furnaces come equipped with bag houses, so all dust is captured and recycled.
TechWreck supports everything from small companies to Fortune 500 that have taken advantage of our full-service recycling scrap programs. Most of this equipment would otherwise be discarded or shipped to a foreign country. With TechWreck you won't lose the ability to follow chain of custody. You will have confidence your proprietary equipment and or information is protected as we understand protecting you IP is paramount. We have been trusted in some of the largest and most secure data centers in the world for the military, government agencies and private sector. We have worked with the IRS, Homeland Security, Social Security, Department of Justice, Treasury Department and U.S. Department of Defense and the FAA. TechWreck has also worked with corporate America companies such GM, IBM, Hitachi, Toshiba, Hewlett Packard, EMC, Citibank just to name a few.
TechWreck can also handle full data center decommissioning services. We understand that data centers are complicated, purpose-built mission critical facilities and can’t just be “demolished”. We prefer to use the term reverse engineering when taking old data centers out and returning the space to a cold usable shell for lease or resell purposes. TechWreck has 30 plus years of experience in dealing with raised floor environments. We have removed halon and FM 22 systems, Liebert CRAC units, ups systems, gensets, switch gear and all infrastructure that needs to be removed. From the racks to the floor and everything in between TechWreck can handle it. We have decommissioned for EDS/HP, Computer Sciences Corporation, Verizon, AT&T, Google and many more.
Due to the difficulty in disposing and recycling computer scrap, finding the right company can be challenging. Our highly skilled staff is honest, efficient and most have been with us since our founding making the management of this process simple.
